Excellence doesn't care whether you win, lose, pass, or fail. It only cares for full intent and mastery of your preparation, and your attitude and effort in the present moment.

You have to actually love the pursuit of excellence. You can't pursue it for achievements sake.

It’s said that the person who loves to walk will always walk further than the person who loves the destination. That doesn't mean that we walk aimlessly without any destination in mind. Just that when we do hit a destination it’s more like a checkpoint on the journey.

Celebrate your wins and grieve your losses but remember those moments are short lived. Get back in the game and put your full intent into the pursuit of excellence in all things you value.
